Welcome
You shouldn't have to choose.
You shouldn’t have to choose between a therapist who takes your insurance and a therapist who actually understands where you come from. And if you’ve already done a year of talk therapy and still feel stuck, that’s not a personal failing. It usually means the work never reached your body, only your thoughts.
Many Rooms Therapy Practice was built to close that gap. We’re a multicultural, multilingual group practice offering trauma-informed care through a hybrid psychotherapy and somatic model, holistic, evidence-based, and genuinely inclusive. Right now we work with adults and couples.
Our approach
Body and mind, together.
Talk therapy asks you to think and explain your way to feeling better. That works for a lot of people, a lot of the time. But trauma doesn’t only live in your thoughts. It lives in your nervous system, in the way your shoulders tense before a hard conversation, in the way your body braces even when your mind knows you’re safe now.
Evidence-based
Our clinicians draw on established trauma treatment models alongside somatic techniques, not either/or.
Holistic
We treat the whole person, not just the symptom that brought you in.
Inclusive
Care that doesn't ask you to leave your culture, language, or identity at the door.
Trauma-informed
Every clinician is trained to recognize how trauma shows up, including in ways that don't look like what you'd expect.

Frequently Asked Questions
Adults and couples. We don’t currently see children or adolescents.
It’s nervous system based therapy, built to reach what words alone can’t. Trauma and chronic stress don’t just live in your thoughts, they live in your nervous system, showing up as a racing heart, a tight chest, or a body that stays braced even when your mind knows you’re safe. Somatic work pays attention to that directly, not just the conversation. Your clinician might ask what you’re noticing physically as you talk, guide you through grounding or breathing techniques, or help you recognize patterns in how your body responds to stress. It’s used alongside talk therapy, not instead of it.
No. What you’re carrying matters more than what it’s called. People come to us for anxiety, relationship difficulty, burnout, cultural or family stress, or feeling stuck after prior therapy that didn’t fully land.
We also see a lot of women navigating the weight of caretaking and old survival patterns, people who carry the lasting effects of complex trauma, and people whose coping has taken a shape they’d like to understand and shift. None of this is about willpower. It’s usually the nervous system managing feelings that had nowhere else to go.

You’re welcome to work with us as a private-pay client and use your out-of-network benefits, if you have them, with the superbill we provide.
Yes. Most of our clinicians offer secure video sessions, and some offer in-person availability. We’ll confirm what’s available when you book your consultation.
Yes, and we encourage you to ask for this directly. Matching language and cultural background is part of how we build our team, not an afterthought.
Because fifteen minutes doesn’t tell either of us anything real. You’re more complex than a quick call can hold, and we’d rather not pretend otherwise. So instead of a free mini-session, we offer a full first session, real time to actually explore what’s going on, ask questions, and get a genuine feel for whether we’re the right fit for you. It costs the same as any other session (or is billed to your insurance the same way), but it gives you something a free call never could: an honest answer – This is the right helper for me.
